II. Promo Concept:

The Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE), the non-profit, non-government organization behind the Go Negosyo advocacy, is holding a YouTube Video Contest to see who can create the best 30-120 second video that would encourage Filipinos, especially the youth, to have that enterprising attitude: being positive, optimistic, passionate, proactive, and dwelling on solutions rather than problems.

Philippine nationals and residents (must be both) 35 years old and below may join.

V. Mechanics

1. Create a 30-120 second video that would encourage Filipinos, especially the youth, to take on that enterprising attitude.
2. It is important that entries display www.gonegosyo.net during the last 5 seconds of their video.
3. Once the video is done, upload your video to www.youtube.com and sign up at www.gonegosyo.net/youth. Your name along with your home/office phone number, mobile number, address, and birthday will be asked, as well as your official entry’s URL. Each contestant can send as many entries as they want, but can only win once.
4. By entering the contest, each contestant agrees and acknowledges that PCE is permitted to receive his/her registration data. All personal information will be used by PCE in accordance with its privacy policy.
5. Entries that are lewd, obscene, pornographic, disparaging of PCE or otherwise contain objectionable material may be disqualified in PCE’s sole and unfettered discretion. Only original submissions that are personally created will be eligible to win.
6. All entries submitted shall become the exclusive property of PCE and PCE reserves the right to use said videos at any time and for whatever purpose as it may deem fit. Contestant warrants that his/her entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties, and shall hold PCE free and harmless from any claim from third parties arising from violation of intellectual property rights.
7. PCE assumes no responsibility for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, and PCE assumes no responsibility for technical, hardware or software failure of any kind, for lost network connections, garbled computer transmissions, other problems or technical malfunctions with regard to the Contest. If for any reason, programs are not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, and unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of PCE which corrupt or affect administration, security, fairness, integrity, or discretion, PCE reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. PCE assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, corruption, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. PCE is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail addressed to PCE on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the contestant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Contest. If for any reason a contestant’s entry cannot be viewed or is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures, PCE assumes no responsibility.
8. A select panel of judges will select the three (3) videos that have the most compelling, creative and unique message that would inspire viewers to take on the entrepreneurial mindset.

   Criteria for judging the TOP 10 entries are as follows:

   Content 30 percent
   Does the video has high impact and is so moving and encouraging that the viewer is compelled to take on an enterprising attitude?

   Creativity 30 percent
   Is the video creative and thought provoking to the viewer?

   Originality 20 percent
   Does the video use original ideas, illustrations, and convey its own style and personality?

   Final Product 20 percent

9. Videos will be posted in www.gonegosyo.net/youth/videocontest, wherein it will be judged and commented on.
10. The winners will be announced August 21, 2009 through announcements on the www.gonegosyo.net, through press releases, and through notifications via email and a phone calls.
11. Three (3) entries with the most votes get to win the top prizes.

12. The winners will also receive a call through landline or cellular phone (as provided in winner’s registration). If after three (3) days from announcement, a winner cannot be contacted through phone, an email notice will be sent to the winner.
13. A winner must present two (2) valid IDs in claiming his or her prizes. Valid IDs consist of SSS ID, Company or School ID, Credit Card with Picture, Driver’s License, Passport and Senior Citizen’s ID. If necessary, PCE can also ask for other documents such as Certified True Copy of Birth and affidavits.
14. Winners from Metro Manila must claim their prizes at the Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit on August 28, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center.
15. All expenses to be incurred by a winner when claiming his/her prize shall be for his/her sole account.
16. Names of the winners may, at PCE’s discretion, be published in newspapers and other multimedia. By joining this Promo, all winners agree that their names, photos, and video entries may be used in posters, commercials and other forms of multimedia as part of the post-event publicity and/or winner’s announcement advertisements.
17. All employees of PCE, third party suppliers and service providers of PCE and their respective relatives up to the 3rd degree of consanguinity and affinity are not qualified to join this promo.
18. PCE’s decision in the selection and the determination of the winners is final.
