Government rolls out new small business incentives

New perks include tax holidays and credits to help businesses weather the economic slowdown

ENTREPRENEUR.COM.PH (June 1, 2009) -- Micro, small and medium enterprises will continue to get government support in the form of tax incentives and easy processing of application for registration with the Board of Investments (BOI) under the 2009 Investment Priorities Plan (IPP).

More than 15,000 attend GO NEGOSYO: BABAE, YAMAN KA NG BAYAN!

IT WAS WOMEN POWER at the World Trade Center as Go Negosyo staged the biggest women entrepreneurship event of the year -- the "GO NEGOSYO: Babae, Yaman Ka ng Bayan!", in celebration of the National Women's Month.

Crowd estimates was placed from 10,000 to 15,000 as participants come in and out of the World Trade Center, mostly composed of women, from different sectors, groups and communities.

Go Negosyo Goes Bicol Express


The first for the year 2009, the Go Negosyo Sa Bicol Express registered more than 6,000 participants on Jan. 30,2009 at the Camarines Sur Convention Center. This holds record for the largest number of attendees in the history of Go Negosyo. The traditional Go Negosyo Award recognized the Most Inspiring Entrepreneurs and Microentrepreneurs in Bicolandia.
