MMOW on Agripreneurship is a FREE 1-on-1 mentorship discussion with aspiring and existing MSMEs in the agriculture industry, agri cooperatives and farmers associations. It aims to equip them with business knowledge while providing wider access to market for their products and services.

Through MMOW, Go Negosyo and its partners, will introduce mentors to micro and small entrepreneurs that will offer technical and practical know-how on entrepreneurship through sessions in convenient and accessible locations. During the Mentor Me On Wheels last April 8, 2019 at the Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall, Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion highlighted the importance of creativity and innovation for entrepreneurs to scale up.

He also added, “We will do our best to coach and teach you. Hopefully, you have the skill, now you have to find the market.

And these mentors are here to improve your skill and help guide you as to how you market that skill. ”Creativity and innovation are considered as great attributes to a successful business model. With these two, artists who are part of the different arts industries such as performing arts, visual arts, fashion and lifestyle, events, crafts, culinary arts, digital arts, and advertising and publishing can turn their passion and creativity into successful enterprises.

Go Negosyo, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, conducted a special installment of Mentor ME On Wheels which focused on Filipino creativity and innovation. The program has traveled long from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and eyes to reach a total of 30 cities across the Philippines also with the goal to bring free mentorship closer to every Filipino. The leg was attended by more than 500 mentees and 100 mentors from the creative and non-creative industry.

The event was also graced by DTI Sec. Ramon Lopez and Former Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Francis Tolentino.

Ang maganda kasi sa creativity and innovation yun bang it separates great companies to good companies. What keeps a company going is really creativity and innovation. Continuous innovation is the key… Big companies would even need innovation for their business model to continue and even their business models would have to be innovative otherwise maiiwan po at matatabunan ng ibang up and coming entrepreneurs. The other good thing about instilling creativity and innovation in your business model is it really elevates your business model, value adding,” Sec. Lopez highlighted.

MMOW Creativity and Innovation presented mentors from the creative industry who imparted their know-how and technical skills to the participants. Mentors from the creative industry were Bernie Liu, CEO & President of Golden ABC Inc.; Rajo Laurel, Fashion Designer and Founder of House of Laurel; Jay Aldeguer, President of Island Souvenirs Group; Zarah Juan, Founder of Zarah Juan; and 100 more mentors! Moreover, Go Negosyo mentors from the non-creative industry also shared their expertise during the event. In the list were Rikki Dee, CEO Foodlink Group and Joel Santos, Managing Director and President THAMES International – Entrepreneurs School of Asia among others.

There is so much creativity in Filipinos. Hindi tayo mauubusan ng creativity, you know why? Because we’re fun people, we love to enjoy life as it should be enjoyed. Because of that, we have a very good foundation for creativity… This theme of creativity and innovation is very timely because to magnify the creativity of Filipinos we need innovation. Go Negosyo’s Free Mentorship Travels to Lucky Chinatown

Go Negosyo held the 15th roll out of the Mentor Me on Wheels last February 28, 2019 at the Lucky Chinatown, Binondo Manila. Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion was joined by Kevin Tan, CEO of Alliance Global Inc.; Henry Lim Bon Liong, CEO of SL Agritech; Senators Bam Aquino and Sonny Angara; PCCI Chairman George Barcelon and other Go Negosyo mentors.

Last February 28, Go Negosyo’s Mentor ME On Wheels goes to Lucky Chinatown located in Binondo, Manila — the heart of the oldest Chinatown in the world.

More than 500 micro-entrepreneurs, both aspiring and existing negosyantes attended the free one-on-one mentoring session. GO NEGOSYO, PFA & AFFI TO MENTOR ON FRANCHISING


Go Negosyo is bringing together two of the biggest business franchise organizations in the country through its program, Mentor Me On Wheels (MMOW).

On to this year’s first MMOW leg, Go Negosyo in partnership with the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) and the Association of the Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI) confederate to transport mentorship on franchising to a wider scale of aspiring entrepreneurs and franchisees on January 29, 2018 at Events Center, SM Megamall.

Both PFA and AFFI have been staunch supporters of Go Negosyo. PFA is guided by its mission to promote franchising as a tool for economic development and nation-building, through enterprise development and employment generation. AFFI, on the other hand, continues to inspire the public to take part in franchising industry offering technical assistance such as research and development and has taken significant marks in the industry.

GO NEGOSYO BRINGS FREE MENTORSHIP BACK IN METRO MANILA

Christmas season is the perfect time for all our kababayans who are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to come home and be with their families. As an early Christmas treat, Go Negosyo together with the Department of Trade and Industry led off the 13th roll out of Mentor Me On Wheels last December 3, 2018 held at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

Attended by more than 400 mentees, the session was made even more special by the participation of hundreds of OFWs and seafarers who wants to start or develop their business models. Sen. Cynthia Villar, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, and Amb. Carlos Salinas also joined the mentoring session.

Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion emphasized how MMOW can change the life of many by saying, “The fulfillment we are getting by helping our MSME is truly rewarding. This, I think is the best christmas gift we can give to our OFW and seafarers for the sacrifices that they are doing. Also, many of our entrep-mentors took time despite their busy schedules to impart ideas and knowledge to our mentees.”

Sen. Cynthia Villar, who was also the guest of honor shared her mindset in business and mentored two lucky mentees in the one-on-one session. During her talk, Villar reiterated that, “Hanap-buhay at negosyo, ‘yan ang kailangan ng ating mga kababayan upang makaahon sa kahirapan at upang maging tuluy-tuloy ang pagsulong ng ating bansa. ‘Wag mamaliitin ang maliit na negosyo. Malaki ang aking tiwala na ang mga small and micro industry and magdadala ng progreso sa ating bansa.”

Since the 13th roll out is tailored to cater our OFWs and Seafarers, Ambassador Carlos Salinas of the International Maritime Organization graced the event and inspired not just the mentees but also shares valuable knowledge to the esteemed mentors.

During the mentoring session, Felipe Preciado, owner of an electrical trading and services business became a mentee of Alice Eduardo of Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corporation. After the mentoring session, Eduardo invited him to her office to meet her electrical engineers and guide him with regard to his queries and concerns in the supply management.
