Entrepreneurs and enthusiasts will get a chance to see leading Filipinas gather and speak for a united cause: to provide inspiration and support to the significance of women’s economic power in the country.

If you want to know who run the world, join us on March 6 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City to celebrate the National Women’s Month and witness the immense strength that women hold.

In recognition of the integral role of women in the Philippine economy as the key players of the MSME sector, the 10th installation of the Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit continues to set the stage ablaze by championing women entrepreneurs who are breaking glass ceilings and beating records.

To harness the big potential that comes from economic power of women, Go Negosyo, in partnership with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines will organize the summit with the theme, “Bridging the Gap: Leading Women to Greater Prosperity through Mentorship, Money, and Market” highlighting the 3M approach in the road to inclusive growth for women.

More than just a series of talks, this year’s Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit takes on bolder steps in resonating the importance of mentorship to women entrepreneurs. Consistent with the goals of the ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN), recently launched by the ASEAN BAC, women entrepreneurs will have a chance to learn more about scaling up their business from fellow women entrepreneurs.

“The world is made of men and women and our differences are what makes things interesting as we approach solutions from different angles,” Ms. Teresita Sy-Coson said during the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2017 held at Solaire Resort and Casino, Entertainment City, Manila last November 12, 2017, emphasizing how women’s knowledge and hardwork can allow them to reach their goals.

Through a series of forums and plenary talks, the event aims to reinforce the entrepreneurial spirit of the Filipino people, particularly the women and celebrate their capacity to be agents of economic change and progress.

The keynote forum, “WOMENtorship: Sharing of insights and advices from champion women entrepreneurs,” will be graced by top names in their industries: Tessie Sy-Coson, the Vice Chair of SM Investments Corp.,  Dr. Vicki Belo, Dermatologist and CEO of Belo Medical Group, Lizzie Zobel de Ayala, Chairperson and Co-Founder of Teach for the Philippines, Natividad Cheng, CEO of Uratex, Anne Curtis Smith-Heussaff, Co-founder and Creative Director of BLK Cosmetics, Clarissa Delgado, Co-founder and CEO of Teach for the Philippines, and Merle Paete, 15th Citi Microentrepreneur of the Year, Owner of Pili nuts and pili oil Production. The first forum will be moderated by Kris Aquino, Celebrity Host and Entrepreneur.

Coming from a diverse fields such as the corporate sector, manufacturing, micro, small, and medium entreprepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, advocacy work, education, and cosmetics, the speakers will engage a dynamic discussion on how each person can create an impact and build their own brand.
