How did inspiring women break barriers? As we celebrate the Women’s Month, prepare to learn from the top women innovators and disruptors of our time.

Today, the Philippines has become a rising hub of innovators and start-ups driven by women in different fields such as engineering, fintech services, social enterprise, agricultural enterprise, fashion, manufacturing, and so much more.

With the boldness and courage to take risks in creating new products and realizing new services, Filipinas have truly emerged at the top. The growth rate of  disruptive stand-alone business Philippine market has never been this huge.

To celebrate the women who have introduced disruptive businesses in the Philippine economy, a forum entitled, “Changing the Game: Successful Women Innovators and Disruptors,” will be facilitated by Go Negosyo, in partnership with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines.  This year’s Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit theme is  “Bridging the Gap: Leading Women to Greater Prosperity through Mentorship, Money, and Market” highlighting the 3M approach in the road to inclusive growth for women.

Through a series of forums and plenary talks, the event will reinvigorate the entrepreneurial spirit of the Filipino people, particularly the women and celebrate their capacity to be agents of economic change and progress.

Invited panelists who will take charge in answering questions on how women entrepreneurs have wielded the power of ideas and innovation and continuously contributed to our economy in the forum entitled,  “Changing the Game: Successful Women Innovators and Disruptors,” are Alice Eduardo, President and CEO of Sta. In this session, the country’s award-winning women innovators will impart their stories of change. They will also provide a glimpse of the status of business innovation in the country by looking at how they overcame challenges and reached success.

The summit aims to provide inspiration and support to the significance of women’s economic power in the country by recognizing women champions who will serve as role models where more people especially the women can learn from and emulate.

Participants will also have an opportunity to be part of the largest mentoring event happening in one day where 50 mentors at the least will be present to share their insights and expertise.

The Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit expects to gather 7000 participants hailing from various stakeholders such as women entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, students and administrators from the academe, business organizations, NGOs, cooperatives and government officials.
