The ASEAN Business Awards 2019 will be presented at the Gala Dinner, which will be held on 2 November 2019 at the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand.


The ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) was launched by the ASEAN Business and Advisory Council in April 2007 to mark ASEAN’s 40th anniversary since 1967. The awards give recognition to the most outstanding and successful ASEAN. Companies contributing to ASEAN’s economic growth and prosperity.

ABA was conceived to be the first of its kind in the region, with the dual objectives of recognizing outstanding ASEAN enterprises, and to serve as a platform to spread information concerning the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) & promote regional integration. In addition, ABA also brings to the spotlight promising ASEAN small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have the potential of becoming global economic players.


Since its launch, ABA has recognized more than 100 companies throughout the region that excel in the categories of: Growth, Employment, Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Over the years, ASEAN-BAC has further expanded the categories of ABA to include the Priority Integration Sectors (PIS) of ASEAN element, as well as recognizing outstanding young entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs and sustainable Social enterprise.

Procedure for Application

  • The nomination and selection for ABA 2019 can be made through National Gateways, comprising of the ASEAN-BAC Council Members.

  • The Nomination Form can be downloaded, click here

  • Once completed, submit Nomination Form together with all required supporting documents to [email protected]

Closing Date

Each ASEAN Country is invited to submit nominations through their respective
National Gateways by August 31, 2019.
