ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines Chairman and Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion brought the mentorship programs to a greater level as he led the launch of these programs in Singapore and Israel.
Last August 27, 2018, Concepcion together with ASEAN BAC 2018 Chair Robert Yap, ASEAN CSR Network CEO Thomas Thomas and ASEAN CSR Network Chair Yanti Triwadiantini signed the partnership between ASEAN CSR Network AND ASEAN-BAC’s Sector Champion for Responsible and Inclusive Business during the 76th ASEAN-BAC Meeting in Singapore.
Establishing stronger mentoring network partnership with Singapore enables joint development and will produce programs, projects and advocacy initiatives pursuant to the advancement and operationalization of Responsible and Inclusive Business and AMEN in ASEAN and ASEAN Dialogue Partners.
The program’s mentorship advocacy provides a platform to promote best practices and maximize potential in the path towards inclusive growth throughout the member states and the ASEAN dialogue partners.
Then during the official and first state visit of President Rodrigo Duterte in Israel last September 2-5, 2018, Go Negosyo’s Mentor Me program was signed into partnership with Israel-Philippines Chamber of Commerce to provide a stronger mentorship program in Israel and Philippines.
The partnership was signed along with the different business deals and investments gathered in this historic four-day visit.
Israel is known for being a nation for start-ups and innovators. The country offers unique tools to support the early development stages of technological initiatives. These tools assist startup entrepreneurs in developing their innovative technological concepts at the planning. It was also designed for entrepreneurs with an innovative technological idea, and early stage budding companies.
With the initiation of the mentors-partnership in Singapore and Israel, opens vast opportunity to prepare the MSMEs not just in ASEAN but across the world to face the growing challenges in the business community and to scale up their operations to increase the production of their goods and products through the training modules provided in the mentorship program.
