For Cesar Pasco, life was never easy especially in crafting business. After working in Saudi Arabia, he started trying to be a businessman and because of his grit and passion, he succeeded.
In year 2009, Cesar started with a capital of 250.00 and with perseverance, Sarilikha Handicrafts was established. His product lines are mostly bags, vases, mats and raw materials. It was a very challenging beginning for him due to lack of background and knowledge about business. He was not even giving much consideration on product development, operations, and human resources but despite all the hardships, he chose to continue his endeavor.
Through the help of Kapatid Mentor Me, his passion now lies beyond creating innovative and unique products. His business, according to him, is directed towards achieving more milestones including creating and producing crafted products that showcase their provinces resources. Luckily, he was also introduced by DTI Laguna to DOST Design Center Philippines.
He was also invited to exhibit his products to different trade fairs sponsored by the DTI, American Women and Manila FAME.
For Cesar, success is not just a destination but a continuous journey and a lifetime process of learning.
